somefella,
welcome to the club. Sounds like you are into escorts!
1. Nope. Suggest order directly from UK
2. As above
3. As above
4. Kelisa best of with 14's as they are easier to find. Check out the for sale section and a guy has a set of 14's for sale. I think its around 500 and they like to use the term banana rims! Also they are very popular with drifters esp the AE86 as they run 14s. Although not called superlite or minilite or ultralite or minilife, they have their own type such as Enkei and RS Watanabe!
5. Gaskets best of to get direct from the UK. Its hard to get any type of jets, emulsion tubes, venturis or even chokes locally. You can sometimes get lucky with this chap called Ramli in Kg. Medan, PJ area. He has some jets and chokes for DCOE's and DCNF's. What IDA do you have at your store? Sounds interesting. Mind posting up more details of it?
6. Again hard to find item but i have seen one or two around. Maybe you can try Rosli at Subang. A turboed mini with DCOE is what we need here. I believe for forced induction the code is then DCOE-SP as they come with seals around the butterfly.
Hi again. No, i'm not into escorts.. tho i wouldn't mind a mk2 with forest arches! :D had a mk1 some time ago but it's now flying around the country (literally) in the belly of an army hercules aircraft B) .
Yeah, the parts/wheels i have were all ordered from the uk but i was hoping that the mini folks here would have had set up some sort of inventory :( . I know of the 'banana' rims u mention but my friend has intentions of fitting bubble arches, hence needing wheels with a 'fat' offset. I had a set of magnesium 12'' minilites some years ago but they were stolen from the workshop i had my car sent to for bodywork repairs

. i do have a pair of copies (they're 'roh' wheels) left. The rest are revolutions.
By the way, whatever happened to the 'wardspeed' spaceframe mini which was raced in the 70's and early 80's in malaysia  ? The car was taken over by a kelantanese chap known as 'mat chye' from tunku kamil ikram (whose 2nd wife, now ex, made headlines with her gambling habits recently). The reason i ask is coz, a mix-up MANY years ago has left me with 2 of it's 'mamba' wheels while my 2 revolutions should still be with the current owner. I last saw the car some years ago in USJ with only two mamba wheels on. will somebody tell him the other two are with me? :P
The IDA i have is a 50 and it's jetted for a 13B. The DCOE's u mention has foam filled floats right? apart from the seals. I opted for the DHLAs coz they come with plastic floats but sadly they leaked at high boost on a blow-thru set up (and nearly roasted my car) So b4 my baby goes up in flames, i've invested in a programmable ECU  .
How much for the SU, complete with plenum, minus the intake manifold? I've used a modified daihatsu carby off a grp A charade before and it worked quite well untill i took it apart and lost it's internals  .
