im selling mine,look on prev comment in forum i've posted,or its under cars for sale, (mini for sale)..

u can always ask other ppl in the forum

mini is well, maintainance, up to u coz if ur taste is high, it would be higher cost..my car not causing problem. i only spend RM 50 per month for petrol, RM 20 for coolant, after 3 months interval,minyak hitam,depends.keep a bottle that cost u RM 40. just to get it moving fine.is this expensive?

Nice to support guys... how about others? we need to atleast get 15-20 minis then inform the start reporter one week before the event. And we need a title for that MTT as well... something like "MMEC Gathering before Merdeka" .. ..

guys,
i have a technical here, has anyone change gear box mounting before? my car gear box mounting i think lose already, sometimes it will hit the exzos paip... im trying to DIY, any tutorail for me? how much does a new mounting cost? i never survey the price before...

Event: KARNIVAL MINI SEMPENA MEGA SALES 2005

Organiser: Majlis Tindakan Pelancongan Negeri Sembilan
Co-Organiser : Pengupusan Nilai 3 Wholesale Centre
Mini Section : (SMOC) Sports Mini Owners' Club-Malaysia for Mini events.

Date: 30th.July 2005
Time : Starts at 2.00 pm - Ends at 5.00 pm
Place : Kawasan Perniagaan Nilai 3, Negeri Sembilan
Category:
1) Classic Mini - 1959 to 1968 Basically for Mk 1 and 2 - 8 prizes
2) Modern Mini - 1968 onwards - Basically for Mk3 to Mk5, Clubman & GTs - 8 prizes
3) Open - Variants - Basically for mini pick up, van,worsley, riley, mokes etc... 8 prizes
4) Best Modified - non standard with lots of customising etc.... 8 prizes

I heard that there will be door gifts for the first 100 cars, lunch for 200pax. and evening tea provided to all participants.

At 4.00 pm there will be some concert etc...

Those interested can either go direct to the venue or follow the SMOC convoy gathering at 11.00 am at the fruits stalls after the sungei besi toll and before the Nilai memorial Park. the convoy will leave at 11.30am.

wow u guys are like a mini community. i m new here and i m a mini owner myself. actually i have a brand new set of 12" mini rims that i want to sell. anyone interested?

also, i need some advise here. i heard that there are ppl that import mini from japan, cut them up and weld them back again. is it legal and safe to drive that type of car?

yes importing frm jap n welding it together is legal hehee... i did mine that way LOL :D it hasnt given me trouble...no major problems...though hahaa just a few gliches here n therebut yes it is safe and legal :D

Has anyone here in this forum heard that there are a few Minis stuck in Padang Jawa JPJ? Some friends told me so therefore please make a survey on this subject.

thanks guys for giving advises. actually would like to join u guys for a gathering but my car is in the workshop and not moving.

twistedangel, how much did you pay for your car?a guy recommend me to buy imported car from japan that is weld back together. he offered a price of 10k. is it worth the price?

been asking around for advises.
some say its safe and not detectable by jpj. others gv the thumbs down as they say jpj can check for weld markings n its not safe when speeding.

1/2 cut...did it in malacca peter...by my uncle thats happens to be one of the members of the malacca mini asc. i dont think it shud be a problem...if it is..oh well wats done is done then :D

come on i need more than just 10...or me and skyline are gonna be pushing back the date guys...

btw skyline we need a better venue for the photoshoot... ive got a few suggestions..
