What happened in front of amcorp mall.???? But on the 18-04-04 There was a small gathering of minis around 40 at the Kelana MPPJ Stadium. This event was organised by MPPJ together with the Sports mini owners' club - Malaysia. It started at around 10.00am. They had fishing competition,Karoke competition and some other events etc.... Sorry on the Shoot out on 17-04-04, we were told not to bring camera so I TOO forget to take the camera,Let me try to see whether i can get from some other MINI GUYS. What did you hear happened in front of amcorp.? :unsure:

im a mini fan too.. got one my own..that currently in the works..in a workshop in meru road klang...its suppose to be out n about this week but its hard to say though..ill post a pic up when its done eh..im also plainin on joinin the mini owners club.. :)

nice meeting you at the Proton Shootout last weekend. thanks for the info on the mini VTEC mod. i'm hoping to make a mini Vtec mod for road use. oh yea..good luck in the race.

well to make an avatar like johnsonlam's, you need to make a video and use a gif animator to save and convert it to .gif picture.

it's quite easy with the right software. you could ask johnsonlam for the software.

Hi guys, I am new to Mini.....after driving my big BMW E34 at the Street Shootout 2, I am now considering going the other extreme.

Heard about the Mini Vtec......how much would modding a standard Mini to Vtec cost? Can RM20,000 cover everything - halfcut, labour. What disc brakes can be fitted into a Mini? I heard that Mini handles best on 10" rims......for sure cannot fit Brembo!

Besides Vtec, which 1.6 engines can be fitted? Something like Sentra 1.6, or even Wira 1.6 will still give the Mini good power, but low maintenance, no?

Can 2 bucket seats (Sparco or OMP) fit into a Mini?

Now with a budget of RM20K, I think you should be able to get a Mini vtec conversion, Mini and definetly a talk amoung mini boys and be quite a giant killer.

A vtec conversion cost est. UK Pound 1450.00
Mini 1275 GT reasonable con. 6K. These two items cost the main bulk.

Which mini vtec are you refering?. UK or Malaysian? If Malaysian there will be 3 mini vtecs racing this weekend. Come and see for yourself :D 2 will be running B16 Big V (the might upgrade,Idon't know.) 1 will be running B18c Type R, all will be running standard motor i think.

shoot out 3 will see 3 classic minis road version participating. I will submitting there names as soon as i see the registration forms.

Attend the race, meet up with me and will discuss further yah :)

Guys........ i facing some problems here........

1 of my mini using 4 drums break, without servo, i need to press 2 times then the car will only stop, WHY? i change all the small pump, front 4 pumps, back 2pumps, the master pump i change also, 4 drum change too..... really headache with this.... totally no ideas.... any comment?? help help...

Come to this ss03 look me up n i will ask my fellows mini players as to your problems.....

B 4 u change your pumps were they ok? If yes than check whether the pumps are of the same size eg,. 1/2" or 3/8 etc.... pumps.

b4 i change the pumps, all no presure also, i change back the same size as well, i look for 3 mechanic at old kland road, spend RM1600 total include the labour, but cant fix the problem.... headache, RM1600, ill rather fix disc..... spend wrong $$ already...

ill call u when i want to fix the car.

Before you change your 4 pumps for the front leading shoes, were your originals 2 pumps or 4 pumps type? What year modelis your car 1960++?
