Which 2006 Civic model will we get?

  For the sake of all boy racers, I hope Honda will bring in the 197bhp Civic Si Coupe version too.
  
  I heard the designer for the sporty version of the Civic is the same designer as the Jazz. Finally, the Civic is returning to its root - a boy racer car.

IMHO, i think civic's root is not really a boy racer car (recall 1st & 2nd gen civic), 3rd gen onwards it is more sporty. then 7th gen it return to its root as more comfortable&regular family car but it fails, so 8th gen back to sporty look :)

really like the dashboard of the new civic...if i have no money can transplant it into my saga ah? :p :p haha...

my guess is we'r gonna get the JDM than US version...any other opinion? :)

according to new sunday times yesterday which one of their journalist went to Japan to see the car..its not the US spec civic.

the one definitely to come here will be similar model but different lights front and rear. the rear one looks like dual rounded lamps (when look from rear like 4 door DC5 integra)

power wise will be 1.8 i-VTEC with new generation 5 speed automatic. power is claimed like normal 2.0 engine while having the fuel consumption of a 1.5 engine.

yeahh..the dashboard design is really cool....with split instrument meter that makes toyota's optitron meter looks old.

p/s and Saga LMST meter looks like last century's design.:D
