Wher 2fix Ground cable???

Wher to fix the ground cable...Sum say fix 2cable's to earth others to engine parts...Sum say fix 1 to distrubuter n other cables to body o earth...Wic 1 is beter??Any commens???

from the battery negative terminal, conect one to a common ground point (preferably on the chassis so that it serve as 1 point), from there, same point, split 2 or 3 cables to the engine head, firewall, distributor/gearbox.

for the alternator, connect one cable directly back to the battery if possible.
