Even if Honda were to bring in this Type - R , considering that authorised distributors cant compete with AP importers on pricings, the previous (mini mpv-like Type -R) costs RM220k .... around the price of the Evo 7 selling at that time. If Honda Malaysia were to bring in this model, maybe RM240-250k ... i'd rather buy Evo 9, or Scooby, or Audi 2.0TFSi, or Gold GTi, or Saab 9-3 Aero. All this can out perform Civic Type - R (not on track lar... except Evo and Scooby) this kinda pricing really cannot justify Civic's performance as a high performance car.... oh .. the 280hp Subaru Legacy with all time 4wd costs just RM268,000 ...... its miles ahead ler..

please contact NAZA for more information. Put your deposit and they will settle the rest (except money issue) for you.

BTW, papan, there is an "EDIT" button in your own posting.

Don't forget the previous Type-R which cost RM220K (in Ingolstadt's post) is "kosong", the RM220K don't even include audio system.

Which is why Honda never ever brought in any of their high performance model. They know the price of a CTR or ITR isn't competetive in Malaysian market and we're a calculative bunch so they never and will never bring in any high performance model, at least for the time being. If we were to calculate Ringgit per Horse Power, the CTR will lose out to the cars which Ingolstadt just mentioned. But there's just something about Honda cars.

Parallel importers will bring in a couple of units and there will be few Honda enthusiast that will buy this car regardless of the shocking price. People love the CTR because of the superb engine for a small CC engine.

The design itself is a bit radical. Its just so unlike the typical Honda. The interior looks futuristic, the exterior looks a bit bloated but at the end of the day, it'll still sell well.

If not mistaken, i once saw the EP3 retailing at RM180K+ in NAZA showroom. A second hand unit in fact.
