What do you think of the Gen2

The handling of the car? Is it as good as Neo? Cause I am thinking of getting this car and change it into a tracking car.

got rear disc brake

pick up/torque suck... sgt lembap
bad quality (2x clutch pump, 5x power window etc)
fc +/- RM80 full tank 480km

spot on aby the rear disc.
even bigger than my waja.really envy yr disc.

but the torque dip below 3k rpm is too critical...hated it so much especially when driving automatic gen2 till i have to resort with using the shifter like sequential gearbox.. (1-2-3-D to accelerate from junction or traffic light)

Hi guys thsnks. I didn't want a Neo because I was originally driving a neo. I sold my car as I need to fetch parents around and 2 door is very hard to get in and out. So I going to get a 4 door car. Gen2 is cheap, I remember that many teams used to use it for Sepang racing, so I think chassis should be decent.

For power.... not a problem...hehe...... got plans for the engine....

Maybe you could consider a Waja 4G engine.
Since you planning to tracking the car Waja have possible space to put in 4G63T engine.

In Singapore you can buy such an old car and get it registered? Wouldn't it be kinda expensive?
