Want anything from UK?

with new NAP.. do u still want to bring the car back?

From my understanding of it, it doesn't change much.

APs not freely available to general public, only used car dealers.
Furthermore they have to pay RM10k for each.

Can anyone correct or confirm?

can anyone confirm whether student AP can still used to bring car back into Malaysia even after the NAP implementation date?

why lahh:banghead:

I've read MITI's statement.

There was nothing on student/returning professional's AP. So I assume the policy will remain the same.

However, noticed a lot of policy changes. Esp. phasing out of old cars, phasing out of old/used parts, yearly inspection like UK/Aus/NZ/Japan....etc

a little bit concern becoz mine already 11yrs old.. next year when i'm back there.. 12yrs old.
About the inspection no problem becoz here i need to bring the car for inspection every 6month but here no problem with used or new spare part.. that the most part make me scared..

how to past the test if no spare part to replace the broken one.. hope they still can make good the policy..

Zamad, my car is 18 years old!

Again, don't worry about NAP. It says import of USED parts banned.
Two ways around this:

1. Tuner parts or OEM parts can be imported BRAND NEW.
2. Imported parts can be declared as personal effects rather than car parts. On the form, write personal effect or gift. Just say its to decorate your house

thanks...

to source is easy.... to import is the hard bit

Prices between £18k-22k for stockish r34 gtrs...for nicely modded ones, start at £25k...

Not worth it I reckon, when you add tax..they will approach Malaysian prices.

R32s and R33s are much much cheaper... but of course, who wants these old cars...blerghhh :rofl::rofl:
