hey dude, if ive got RG coilovers on my A31 running 8 inch rims in front and 9 inch on the rears.. tyres are 18"

i run 235/40/18s all around coz any bigger, the sidewall of the tyre rubs against the coilover.. even with these 235s, certain tyres rub, some don't, it depends on the sidewall profile..

im running Toyo Trampios and they're just nice, Potenzas rubbed and left rubber on the coilovers :(

hope this helps somewhat

I thought you sold di your A31?

I ran 8 inch front and 10 inch rear on 235/40/17 F and 255/45/17 but with TEIN HA all clear except for the front cause offset not right......18mm spacers solved the problem.

no mods done to the arches. If your wheels offset is right then it should not be a hassle just that my front has a funy offset hence the spacers.

If you are going 17x8 and 17x9 I'd advice you go coilovers for the tyres to clear the dampers

It really all depends on your rims... the offset has to be right... i am using 17x9.0 on the rear with 245/45 and there is no rubbing the tyre on the shocks or the guard... i think mine is offset 34... just nice... i think the most i'd do is to roll the lip on the guard in just a bit...

9s give a nice fat wide look to the A31! :)
