Biggest bore you can go with a stock Type 1 case is 94mm. 94mm bore and 84mm stroke gives you 2332cc. there is a car with an 86 and 88mm stroke running around for quite some time already.Ordering from states is not as easy as you think. you must know what you want, how fast you wana go, how much ou can afford.the most expensive items are the cylinder heads.How bout induction and carburation or Injection? they are expensive.Going big bore , big CC, high horsepower in a Beetle or aircooled engine is very expensive. easily 20K.</blockquote>
