Hi, my car now lying at my friend workshop at ss19 subang jaya,

how much would it cost for the ABF engine?

where to get because i ask around subang airport here most of them is the auto mode, any others place to recommend??

the last time I check (last week) its RM 2800 complete front half, engine, gear box, spring, shocks brakes alternator..... all la including ECU. However they do not have the key and because of the imobalizer the ECU cannot use la.... so u think about it la.

i am sure u know that the K-Jet fuel pump is at a higher bar right? .... good luck.

yeah, but that's what the adjustable fuel reg gonna manage (later) are for.
tone down the FP a bit. the fuel pump runs at 4 bar right?

not sure what kinda pressure the stock digi fuel reg gonna come up wif, but i'll install a fuel pressure gauge to see what's what.

been a week into the install now, i work frm 8 to 5, so doing it a few hours per week is soo much time consuming

yes and I think you only need 3 bar..... u do your own work, great can save a lot.

If your thinking of owning a Golf because its fast .... you would be mistaken. Stick to your Japanese.

it seems that my soul are destine for contis,i'm so used to my father's quattro..thats y i feel like i need to drive sumting like that. futhermore i admire the golf legend,which spawn many gti hothatch nowadays. my uncle own mk3 golf gti, and new beetle 1.8t. i need to get serious advice bcause im serious in having one.

Well since you have been exposed to the Vdub world you would know that the car is at least 20 yrs old and most would need some TLC. If u don't mind breaking down on the highway, stalling or even refusing to start then u are good to go. Oh the other thing is the a/c is never cold.... except at night that is....

It would be quite difficult to get a secondhand now as the owners who are keeping them would be an enthusiast further more no more loan so need cash buyer. As you can see the odds are not in your favour. Anyway best of luck.
