The metallic sounds from the fan area, not from the engine. The sound is still there when the engine is switched off and the fan is still running. But I haven't really checked it out, coz I have 9A waiting for me so not too bothered.......:cyclops:

The shrick oil sump is calling for you :shocked:


Yes, with your suspension setup, you should have the baffled oil sump before going to Sepang coz you will be going round the corners much faster than I was.

guys...my first time...i blew the engine down there...eoj and uncle hadaki was there...

my second time....it was all good... =]

third time.....hmmm....waiting for u guys to invite me...hope good news...hehehe

then the second thing is my engine oil...its all gone...

because of that it worn out the bearings..=[ sigh*

Looks like you need a baffled oil sump. Mike, where u put the shrick baffle oil pan????? :cyclops:

its all mixed up...

got some from wira...got some from RB20...

my meter panel now doesnt even show the fuel level...

=p

Wanted to ask you where is this 1/2 cut shop...

Looking for the Mk3 2.016V GTI engine... forgot the engien code... or was it ABF?

will sport springs from a proton fit my MK2?

Tried it fit a set Wira 1.8 springs into the Mk2 already.

Front springs - the Proton springs' diameter are too large, so cannot fit.

Rear springs - the diameter is the same, but the bottom of the springs won't sit properly into the standard spring holder. Maybe a part can be machined to hold it in place, and you would need to cut a few coils too.

So, didn't fit the springs in. Will be looking for sport springs soon.

Bert, no GTi there. The Mk3 I think was 1.6 auto. Anyway, the chop shop is along Jalan Bukit Kemuning, on the right if you are coming from Shah Alam.
