Everyday as I pass a row of shophouses near my home I notice a shop with a big banner selling used tyres. I wondering if it worth it to buy used when I decide to upgrade rim size or need to replace my tires, anyone got experience?
Is it safe to use? Comfortable etc....
Importantly, is it much cheaper then brand new ones?

yeah you could save quite a bit, but u still have to be very cautious...
condition of the tyre needs to be looked at carefully. Look for cracked walls, cracked inner wells, puncture marks and most importantly is the manufactured date... if the tyre is still in good condition with plenty of thread left, but was manufactured 2-3 years ago, its still not gonna grip/perform well as the tyre would have hardened...

hhmm...not worth it....used tyre, to me, only to be use when you have less budget
to buy a new set of tyre. But then it's also depends on year of manufacture and the condition of tyre.
