URGENT FOR AE82 Rear Disc brake

Hi all the Toyota Club brother, need your help i looking for AE82 rear disc brake and URGENT!If anyone have or know where can get it, please let me know.Thanks.Actually, i just converting my engine from 1.3 to 1.6 and the disc brake is come with it (AE100 model). Too bad, AE 100 rear disc brake does not suit AE82 so i need your help. :(

buy a set of AE92 disc brakes; its easier to find and generally cheaper if found.

u have to mod it a bit, will post the link later.

to me the AE82 rears are not worth the trouble. its not that they're not good. the price and difficulty to attain them does not justify their condition and their use.

once u get the AE92 knuckles, u can put the AE100 disc and calipers if their bigger, so better not exchange. i did that to mine coz my AE101 rear disc rotors and calipers are newer and look better (bigger)

My car, AE92 knuckles and absorber (not fully visible) with AE101 Levin disc rotor and calipers (rear)

nobody wanted an AE101 rear knuckles with small kuchifart disc so i had to sell them for scrap. :P

This is what u have to do to make AE92 rear knuckles fit into ur car, IF u choose to follow my way.

The thing is still holding up well after 3+ years, and i've met tonnes of LE drivers who did this mod (who do ya think i learned it from?) and very few had problems. i totally recommend it. however its still up to you. this is just one way to do it. if u still want the original AE82 rear brakes, good luck finding and hope u get an affordable price. for RM350 last time, it wasnt worth my time (i dont have it anymore, sold it). my AE92 rear knuckles PLUS absorbers L+R only costed me 250 bucks! they were in good condition summore :lol:

halo, ae80 type D, y 1 of my fren (which using LE2) told me de ae92 knuckle can fit 2 LE without doing any mods, is it true?

could be his definition of "mod" is different, or the early2 AE92 and late model AE82 already share the same parts for the lower arms.

OR somebody duped him into believing that AE82 knuckles are actually AE92 ones? :lol: (dont take me too seriously). the answer is, i wouldnt know... sorry :P

either way, this is an encouragement for ur project, no? ;)
