HELL!!!
Why on earth is Bridgestone MY01 in your list for consideration? That's the most overrated and crap tyres ever made by Bridgestone. 1 month old new tyres - 20km/h on a slightly damp road with gradual slight curve road can lose traction and slide. Stupid bloody useless tyres.
WOAAA that bad :banghead:

potenza re001 still ok, threadwear 220, balanced tyre all round, but once worn by 50%, wet traction sucks, even worse for the thai version.

potenza re11 rated same as ad08 in dry but perform much2 better in wet, soft compund n much more silent than ad08. Downside, priced higher than ad08.

potenza re01r and re55s is a semi slick version. re55s using much softer compound and not street legal. in the dry, both performed great (re55s better) and doesnt overheat easilly as re001. threadwear sucks! sidewall not as stiff as competitor alike.

toyo r1r in the other hand is another good tyre, competitive price. Very predictable in the wet, and great dry traction. Fun once its really warmed up!

toyo r888. depending on opinion, some say its street legal some say not. but dry traction superb and wet traction like u re doing ice skating. Super dangerous in the wet, even brand new. also the threadwear mmg cepat abis woooooo...... when hot and under abuse (trackday, etc) tend to throw chunks of worn rubber.... really soft. comparable to advan a048.

advan ad08 and ad07, ad08 grips almost same as ad07 in wet, but much more predictable in the wet than ad07, as log as u dont do something stupid, youll be ok. hehehe i think most who have use this tyre will understand.....

kumho ku36, this is fun...... the cheapest of most semis. threadwear = 180, just like ad08 n r1r, but priced much2 lower and more affordable. designed like azenis rt615 but performed much2 better. in dry comparable to ad08 with very stiff sidewall, but be prepared for noisy ride. in wet so, so la..... lousy when hard breaking in wet, tend to skid under braking....... quite fun once you understand the limits....

i have yet to try federal tyres, accelera semis, but thats what i will go for next..... read n heard good reviews bout it....

595RSR, good on wet too. I was able to test its performance in dry and wet the 1st day I fitted them. They perform great on wet too. I believe is the design of the thread since it has more water channels compare to other semi. Grip was superb, my car is a hatchback. Tire noise is still ok to me and the sidewalls are quite stiff.

595rsr thread is little bit bit similar to t1r but the thread is marvelous that is 140 if not mistaken. Good for track day and street use.

Most track tyres are semi slick, and are bad in the wet.
Others to consider are GY RS Sports, Falken RT-615, Dunlop Z1 Star Spec, Hankook RS-2 or if can find the RS-3.

Just wonder how is dunlop z1 star perform. Anyone on this tyre to comment?
The Z1 is one of the best street tyre I ever use. Current set up on my car is 215/45 R17 87W.

Sidewall is a bit softer compared to ad07, hence driving in KL is a bit harsh on uneven surface. Traction grows as u drive longer, as the tyre warms up a lil late. Taking corners very sharp and precise and the steering feels very responsive. Launching the car from stationery, I can feel very minimal wheelspin. Stopping distance same like R888. In wet, I dare not risk my safety, always drive below 100km/h.

Tread pattern is not garang.

Noise...I never bother!

No la bro, I believe this tyre performs greatly in wet, just that may past haunted me....driving in wet on highway at 160km/h, hit water puddle and my car spun, hits left and right guardrail like 8 times until the car stopped.

So, I drive very slow in wet eversince...hehehe

Noted bro.,
Wah! I think I tried once only doing 150kph, and short burst only.
Most of the time, max is 130kph for wet road and sorry to hear of your mishaps......
