TPS don't hv error code in ECU diagnosis...right?

what is the symptom showing that u got TPS problem or need to readjust it...???

TQ

Chinozie, do you think TPS is affecting your top end like u asked me last time? I'm not good at TPS, but sifoo like Chin & Wong should be able to assist you. hehehe. Since i have been hearing they talk about TPS some time ago.

is not top end...
it's just like when u press throttle more...
VVT engaged...but it sucks more air, so the car became slower a bit...
then release a little bit of throttle...only then the car will go faster...

is that because of TPS...???
just wondering...blur already...what is the shympthom...

TPS..... i though wan discuss foot ball cos it is a football team name in finland... hahaha

Yes the TPS can check by the Diagnosis Tools by reading the Voltage of itself..
*Like WOT = Wide Open Throttle is 6volt
*Close throttle is 0.5volt
*Half throttle is 2.5volt
something like that U also can use digital multimeter to test is that still function or not... But remember just key on but dunnot start U're engine...:)

This info is all in the service manuals. Refer to the following links for them :

You are facing that problem because you don't have a optimised extractor like me. I used to have this problem and hated the VVT design method implemented on 20v.

I am not saying VVT is not good, but I am saying toyota optimised it wrongly.

Anyway, after I have calcutaed 4-2-1. The VVT behaved wonderfully, and I never complain or metion VVT ever again.

There are plenty of tips on my website. Most are found / optimised via knowledge of science and not stupidly buy branded stuff from Japan or USA.

Branded stuff nearly always never work, because we the user to buy it does not realise it's "optimization zone".

I.e. the buy it for the wrong reason, most of the time.

hmmm...maybe...power optimise...

anyway...problem already settled...by adjusting the fuel pressure...

BTW found this...sentences on Bill Sherwood's page...

"The fuel pressure from the factory pump is about 75psi, and is regulated down to about 35psi - 38psi at the fuel rail. The fuel rail has the pressure regulator on the outlet end, and a pressure damper on the other."

duhh...i thought 20V pressure was 30psi - 32psi stock...only know i realized...

Nasir,
Pls fix your air Temp sensor too.
If not some other problem may occurs after the ECU has run-in.

already done...
lucky the wiring was there...:D

need to tune the engine first then...should be ok...

Thanx Wong...your help i really appreciate...
thanx also to william...achai...william's mech...
