Upgrade it to RB26 stroked to 2.8 will made the Z Fly and eat those Ferrari/Lambo's/Porsche as a snack ~ BUT a stock RB26 internals are good for up to 800 Horses already ~ opps 0_0

yes, rb30 blocks are cheap. add a couple more grand and u can even stroke it to 3.4L.. definite supercar killer

...i have a bad feelings about this car..is hard to revive a rusted dead horse..
pls check the chasis frame structure for deformity and rust..rigidity is the big question now ?

Good news, the engine starts, but leaky fuel tank. Car has been sent to Autosave Racing in Bandar Sunway. They have gotten my car towed from Batu Pahat to there. Once the car was there, the car was jacked up and checked for fuel leak. They drained the fuel tank afterwards and proceed with fixing the leak issue. More photos attached below! I'd like to hear how the Z starts up and drives!

Anyway for your info i bought a 280ZX from this guy too just like U only via the photo provided.
Body of the car definately have to do but problem is front left side of window glasses when missing n i took 2months for the ordering n all wiring have to re-do back due to chopping here n there. Now just after transfer of name n ispection by JPJ, hope to start my project soon.

well it seems the 1987 did not had the facelifted single bar rear, only 1988 model and above had it

but the 1987 did had the kouki front bumpers, so this are correct in a way

yup my 2nd z31 had a kouki front with zenki rear... dunno if it came from factory like that or previous owner swapped it. looked kinda original to me cos there are some modifications required to fit kouki bodyparts onto zenki chassis...

note: zenki (early model)-84-86, kouki (late model) - 87-88
