Remember the concept Nissan Juke-R? Well apparently, the steroid-pumped SUV has somehow caught the interest of some wealthy individuals that made it more than enough to convince Nissan to put it up into production.
The production Juke-R will be using parts from the 2012 Nissan GT-R, so instead of having 480 horses to play with, this one will have a walloping 545-horsepower. There is no official word on the performance figures of the production Juke-R just yet, but it should be close to the concept version which parts were sourced from the 2010 GT-R.
So to get the idea of what the production is going to be like, let’s recap some of the specs of the concept version. Powered by the GT-R’s 3.8l V6 engine, the Juke-R concept made a 0-100 dash in 3.7 seconds, and could reach a top speed of around 260km/h. Besides having also the GT-R’s suspension, the rear seats are gone and replaced with an FIA-compliant roll cage, and there is also a unique split rear wing to plant the huge SUV to the ground.
But if the Juke-R fits your needs, do not jump on your horses just yet, as there is a catch too. It will only be in limited numbers and on a built-to-order basis. So it seems that such a creation will only be seen in the hands of some wealthy Sheikh that wants something out of the ordinary, and it probably will as two out of three orders for the time being come from the elite society of Dubai’s richest. But if you do insist in owning one, drop them an email at [email protected].

Oh, and in the mean time, do check out this pretty cool video featuring the Juke-R in a street race against some fine exotics down at Dubai. Do you think it could keep all the million-Ringgit exotics in its rear-view mirror? Watch the video find out!
