Technical question on RBs

need to ask something..r33gts speedo meter using electric sensor or just normal cable?I bought an auto halfcut n now using my rb20 gearbox,my foreman says i need to find the electric speedo meter sensor situated on the gearbox...any one have this?or any other solutions?anyway if i dont have this, my speedometer wont be functioning... just curious automatic speedometer uses electric sensor,manual speedometer uses cable or electric?

go to any shops known to repair performance nissan and look for gearbox rosak
