yup, Superlon really can reduce the sound fr engine, but i'm not think its the best way u put superlong under the hood. wat car u r drivin now? if ur car is EK or EG, u can buy a Orig sound proofing thing for ur car..

That Honda hood pad doesn't really help much on sound proofing, it's more likely to reduce the hood from aborbing more heat from the motor.

Ya the hood insulator can reduce ur sound less than 20% only. The most important it reduced heat to ur engine.

if you dont mind getting a +-50kgs more on you car, fill ur car with dynamat and hood liner, get thermotec firewall to reduce heat and noise. Thermotec price around 500++ and dynamat, i think you need to use 2 boxes of dynamat, price around 900++ per box without installation.

Got a box German made 'Wurst' brand sound proofing materials forsale at rm500, U can DIY using hair dryers.

superlon suppose to be able withstand the heat from the engine bay rite?
