Guys,
Last saturday, i went to see an acc. shop to check the boot hook which is slightly bent - boot quite hard to close.
1 shop quoted RM 180, another shop RM230.
Just out of curiosity i called Wing Hin, they quoted RM 80 - but no stock. so i went there paid the RM80 and the item will be included in their next shipment from japan. Chances are labour to fix the items will cost around 20-30 max. so save RM70 and above.
Since almost all lexus items comes from Wing Hin, check with them first on pricing - you could save a lot of money.
The experience at Wing Hin - it's located on Jln Loke Yew (if heading out off KL will be on the left side, after the Shell station, under the flyover). Even on saturdays they open untill 5pm.
First called them up - pretty friendly, not the lansi type. He gave me the price and told me i have to pay for it first since it has to be ordered. trip there was very easy. as you walk in, they got like 4 guys in front of computers. have to wait a bit but, try to get their attention (first timer there, so i just wait, but some fella's just walk up to them even when the guys are on the phone).
then one guy called me, ask for description, they have all the visuals of what you want. right to pictures of normal clips............... damm fast to find the visual of the item. made the order and pay.
you can choose if you want it fast or slow shipment. since i was in no rush, my item will be in the container shipment which will take about 1 1/2 months.
