Hello my fellow Neo owners.

Got a question with regards to the size of the speakers mounted in front and at the rear.

Basically, what speaker sizes can fit into the front door panels and rear panels without requiring any extensive modifications to the enclosure?

I know that any size can fit, but I'd like to know if anyone's managed to do so with the aftermarket speakers being installed within the enclosures.

thanks in advance guys!

dont bother about rear speaker, after all, we never go listen concert with our back facing the stage do we?

stock speaker is 6", u can fit 6.5" without any problem, not sure abaout 7" speakers,
because most aftermarket speakers is 6.5"

Ahhh so 6.5"s will fit with no issue..thanks thanks..

About the rear, i'd like to have some better ones for:
1) Rear passengers
2) Better sound balance

But yea thanks for the info, but won't it defer based on the depth of the speaker?
Coz some might be 6.5", but the size of the magnet might differ?
More so, it seems like the door panel isn't that thick...

what speaker u want to use?

i took out my rear speakers & passnger sitting behind can still enjoy music played just fine, but to each their own

Not sure yet.. still just doing a bit of research coz i did a lot of customizing in my previous car to fit in stuff - performance parts and audio.

But im trying not to do that with this car.. hahaha..

The rear speakers are also 6.5"s?
Trying not to resort to going with 6x9's and having to cut the speakerboard.

the rear is 4" only, the area so cramp u can't fit any speaker bigger than 4"

if i were u, i will get good component speaker for front, add amp, put sub woofer on trunk, kaowtim already

Yea that's actually the exact setup i'm actually thinking of.. hahaha...

But again, weighing whether or not i want the extra weight of a woofer in the back :)

thanks for the pointers man.

i am using 6.5" carrozzerias at the front and rear.. no modification needed except for creating a new speaker bracket for both pairs..

attached is the picture of the rear speaker..

do u still use stock rear speaker cover?

Ahh nice nice.. exactly what i was hoping for.

So 6.5"s front and rear should be fittable eh! thanks!

Any idea what's the power output of the stock Blaupunkt headunit?

but, once u change to double din, ur radio controller on steering can use back or not:tongue:

i was thinking of just adding a active subwoofer to the stock blaupunk headunit to reduce the vibration caused by the bass in the front panels.. will it work ornot ah..

stock HU dont have RCA output, abit tricky kot to install active subwoofer,

u will need a crossover to prevent the front speaker to produce sound freq. that is meant for subwoofer,

you guys add front speaker water never seep in through the door? i did mine with just drilling a few holes and add custom bracket.... water coming in when heavy rain........... tried to put silicon around the bracket and also covered with plastic.... still coming in..... now want to remove front speaker no need to bother anymore ........ lol....
