last time i ask from SCG near Petanak is around RM200-300 for 17" pc

how about getting GT Radial?? indon made but got michellin joint venture, its with "e" standard i.e. fullfill all the road requirement in all european nation. only RM300 for 40/17/205

if you wanna get GT you are better off getting the cheaper Nankang. 205/45/R17 is RM280. GT Radial is RM300+ for 205/45/R17 but it has a stiffer sidewalls resulting in a stiffer ride.

I still think Nankang is cheap and fun to trash around. Affordable if you are tight on budget, and if your budget is around that range, Nankang is your best option. If you want to factor in grip etc, save up more and get a better tyres such as Falken and Bridgestone (you can never go wrong with this brand!). Don't get Michellin, they are expensive crap.

using falken now....actually quite like it...but expensive,,,now wanna try either AD07 or potenza GIII

easy, go to your local half-cut/spare parts warehouse. You should be able to find out or order one from Japan.

If you want brand new, you gotta make a few phone calls to the local dealers in West Malaysia.

So if the wheel setup is like /----\, do we need to swap around the tires every now and then to make it balance?

i not that sure as my Michelin thread are different on the inside and outside. :)

Oh yeah... maybe cannot swap since the thread are different.. :D

you cannot swap, the old swapping technique is for the conventional cut tyres.

If you are using the wet/dry cut threads, you cannot swap due to rotation angle.

And if you drive you car everyday, better put your camber | | cause no point adjusting it to / \ , I think your Hotbits suspension has a chamber adjustment plate.
