Hard to find FD halfcut nowadays in KL. To be honest we saw this halfcut on last Monday, price are reasonable, only the mileage is a bit too high, nearly 130K (not sure whether Japanese has rebuilt the engine or not).
A friend of mine he is looking a 99 spec FD halfcut desperately. Another guy in halfcut business didnt bring back the year 2002 one on the last trip to Japan due to the cost too high (RM23K).

When we searching for a FD halfcut, this is what we found. We asked the boss whose owns this halfcut shop to find my friend a 99'spec FD. He said no problem he can get it. But 99 spec is hard to find also the price wont be cheap.
He also requested us to find a buyer for this halfcut and post the pic through the internet. Anyway if anyone of u r looking a FD halfcut, here's one.

FYI, from next year on, the price of a halfcut will be getting higher. Try to look one for yourself as soon as you can if u havent got a spare engine/parts. We all know how much the price are for a rebuilt engine. Price for the parts like a transmission, alternator, dashboard, Tuned ECU, wiring, injectors, turbo, I/C, 4 disc rotors, racing clutch and etc...are expensive if u get those separately.
Better to get a halfcut, save u couple of thousand....

What is the year of this halfcut? I would guess early 1992. If so it appears too expensive, plus the high mileage factor.

I agree though with your comment that it is a good idea to get 1/2 half cut for spares assuming you have the space to keep it!!!
