Anybody using this controller?
mine r not working....
mivec dint kick in...
what's the problem...
follow all the manual already

Ur controller's mivec wire got connect correctly to the ecu??

For mivec use is MVC85X ... ur 1 is vtec use.
the wiring might hav different....
Vtec 1 hav to connect a oil switch wire.

dont know la.... connection ok or not....
hard to find MVC85x

in the manual said if not connected properly, the check engine wil flash out...
mine ok with the check engine but when connecting, the mivec activating point doesn't open at the setting RPM. Even when setting at normal ecu setting, my mivec didn't open.....
is it becoz of setting the " Mivec Speed Cancelation" factory setting at 3000 RPM. What are the actual setting for this function???

Thank You sifu's
Ah Lun and Catan,,,, need ur advise

Bump:
Ur controller's mivec wire got connect correctly to the ecu??

according to the wiring diagram....
all the wire are connected properly...
crosscheck 2-3 times already....

Ok...
refer from this link http://webhost1.inspire.net.nz/~alphaspr/MIVEC/wiring/4g92_ecu_rspec.htm

R-Spec MIVEC Controller

26 = Join the Black into the wiring without breaking the connection (Ground)
109 = Cut and connect Blue to the ECU and Yellow to the wiring going to the engine (Mivec Solenoid)
? = Cut and connect Purple to the ECU and Brown to the wiring going to the engine (only needed on the V6 engines)
101 = Join the Orange into the wiring without breaking the connection (RPM signal)
60 = Join the Red into the wiring without breaking the connection (Battery backup +12V)
62 = Join the Green into the wiring without breaking the connection (Acc +12V)
66 = Cut and connect Pink to the ECU and Grey to the wiring going to the engine (Speed sensor)

This the MVC85 model i using it...

But for the vtc82x might different...
what i suspect is :
-the vtec oil switch not connect
-the solenoid control way also different, mivec use (-)ground to turn on solenoid. not sure about vtec ecu...

if u can find the manual then easy la... or some one hav the same device, so can do some compare. more easy la...
