need some help here...my car key cum remote (standard toyota key with 2 buttons which came with the car when it was shipped to malaysia from japan) has cracked after dropping it a few times... now...

I tried using a ball bearing and spring-type boost controller, but the spike was way too high at 1.5 and the boost isnt constant. So my mechanic resorted to fish tank valves x2.
