Rhys Millen recently took a trip to Brazil but it wasn’t to catch a football game. Instead he brought along his drift-prepped Hyundai Genesis to tackle the slopes of Serra do Rio do Rastro, a nice winding road that was the perfect playground for him to light up the rear tyres on his Genesis.

The video’s just over three minutes of nothing but sideways action and lots of tyre smoke with some spectacular drifting.

Pay attention a bit more and you’ll also realise that there aren’t any existing tyre marks on the road, proof that the younger Millen didn’t practice or get a run the course first a few times.

There isn’t much dialogue too, in fact the only words in the video are “The course is clear.”

it would've been super cool if the rubber in the tires came from the surrounding forest... it would be the ultimate home coming.
