For those that love the nostalgic look of old Group 4/B racing car in the 70's & earlier 80's,it was always about boxy,fat-laced bodywork coupled with very pop-art colour bodywork & the engine with earlier mechanical(Kugelfischer/TAG-D jettro injection system)fuel injection system coupled with huge turbo spitting a firework of more than 700+ hp for pure racing excitement.
But as the time come, the aerodynamics & the understanding of it continue to evolve. No more boxy, fully wide fender bodywork could be found in racing grid anymore as the racing car aerodynamic tend to be more curvious & more organic than ever before.
But for some, the impact of 70's over wide-arched racing car & super big rear wing are more than just a beautiful execution of the race car itself.Akira-Nakai,the founder of RAUH-Welt Begriff(aka RWB' or RAUH-Welt') became fascinated with Porsche styled racing car of the late 70's.From his fame of tuning & drifting the AE86 around Kansai, finally when in early 90's the spirit of Porsche(particularly the 930,& 964,or the modern classic 993) & started to tuning the european brand as his main bussiness/interest.
The RAUH-Welt BegRiff (German) which mean 'Rough World Concept' was brought from his early history of drifting & tuning the AE86 to the local crowd. When the Porsche finally became his full turning point,Nakai-san always said "tuning the AE86 & other cars are just a passing point for me".
With his creation that undoubtedly inspired by Hot Rod Kustom Kulture in the 50's ,& combined with racing theme of the 70's group 4/B that sporting a wide arched all around,it was sparked a debate around car tuning community. Some hate it,while some love the aggression of RWB styling, nevertheless it still stunning to see some of his creation around the street of Japan.

964,West Holly Wood.
It also noted that most of his car had name,& that was his nickname for the car that was considered as his own art's & it would best represented with the name that inspired from the surrounding of the owner of the car(according to mr nakai-san)
I always love the 996 & 997 GT2,but I always had a soft spot for 993 GT2 & the old 935CK(Flachbau' nose aka flat nose option) but Mr nakai creation do make me feel of wanting the the old 964 & had it bodied to be like one of those funky big arch porsche....
