as above wanting to know if it worthy fitting cams 272 on a r3 engine without mod block!!! so standard block wit p&p head control by afc neo!!!!! wit do u expert guys think!!!!:listen::driver::rolleyes::biggrin:
 
yes u can fit highcams without modification to engine block... it is recommended to get the adjustable campulleys and adjustable fuel pressure regulator...

with port n polish head, the result will be better... but if budget is tight, highcams, adj campulleys and adj fuel pressure regulator will do...
 
thanks bro!!!! the head is already p&p so ya looking at fitting my 272 cams from rpw!!! had cams from matspeed for my putra now try other brand!!!!! but hear from ppl r3 engine does not make diff if fix intake cams cause of the ecu system!!!!!
anywan already fix those on thier r3!!!!
 
usually they change intake and exhaust cams as well rite??... thats why when u buy highcams for DOHC engine, they come in pairs...
 
i think best for 4g93 is 288/288!!!! good respond plus not so heavy on fuel!!! used before from matspeed!!!
 
It depends on what have you done to your engine to compliment the cams installed

For street a pair of 272/272 cams is good :)

R3 produced their own performance parts if i'm not mistaken,they got their extractor,cams,r3 ecu is basically the same as 93 ecu..the engine is the same..

yup i know bro but very little i know bout those stuff!!!!! u know anyway using those product or where can i go and find out!!!! also heard its quit expensive!!!!

go for a well known gud setup that people normally do laa
RPW cams are good but quite expensive,JUN also damn expensive, i can get for u kelford for 4g93.. as for ecu same laa 4g93 ecu..can be tune with piggyback..dun simply port ur head..N/A engine diff from turbo..

that true dude as for me i been doing my car wit this forman for bout 3 to 4 years he alright la!!!! p&p is already done before i bought the car but i think their did a good job can feel diff and fuel also is alright!!!!! i though of gettin rpw cams and valve springs 1 set!!!! if kelford cams do their have valve springs too???... pm me how much bro for 272 or 288 lift 10.5.... are u using this cams or anywan u know!!:listen:
 
i'm running 4g63, but kelford cams are quite good cams.. go to camshaftshop.com u'll find those cams there..they have valve springs too.. i recommend u take kelford..havn't heard any problems
