Are the stage2 cams new billets or regrinds?

Stage 2 cams are regrinds. If they were billets, the wouldn't be costing RM1.6K only! I think the original plan were billets, but had to be scrapped because of the restrictive price.

Nope they are far away from the Porsche showroom. You need to go via Kesas heading towards Klang. Then turn left at the Puchong/Shah Alam exit. At 100m, you'll see a huge open area with a large gate to your left. Go straight on, but slowly. You need to watch out for the NEXT turning to the left. That carefully hidden junction is the main entrance to Proton (I guess it makes it more difficult for suicide bombers).

Well, technically speaking you may have to eat roti canai. Because I also converted my engine to fully MMC spec.

But don't fret, as R3 claims you will see similar, or even better gains with a Siemens R3. After all, the cams were designed with Siemens 4G93P in mind.

bout the MMC ecu... i think no probs cause i'm driving a 2000 sgti :P cant afford a sr3 yet laa... but backside itchy for more power :P
anyhow... daily menu of the month will still be roti canai... i forgot to take into account labour charges... ahhh... thats gonna be another 1k i guess. ouch...

i think i'm going to drive down there now... less cars this time... can test car abit :D

krypton, thanks to a certain guniea pig (me), they now have settings for MMC 4G93P's. If I were you, I'd get the cams and a set of pulleys to go with them. This would facilitate for better tuning and results. Labour charges are included in the price.

OK Fellas, To avoid confusion here are the actual cost involved to install the R3 Stage 2 cams.

Camshaft (pair) RM1,600.00 on exchange basis
Camshaft Pulley Pulley RM 400.00 each( M24 R3 owners need not buy, std equiped)
Camshaft installation RM 210.00 ( RM70 per hr x 3 hrs)
Dyno Tuning (optional) RM 200.00 ( Fine tune /optimise setup on a dyno/ unlimited runs)
