Ninja,
Congrats on your run! Thanks for the pics too! Actually it's good to know that there's talk about the sso in zth. Maybe Tom shud set up a forum on SSO or autocrossing??? I normally think of 1 line whenever the marshall says go : "Drive it like u stole it!" Read it somewhere and i tot its funny. Based on the previous discussions, if i may say something: Yes, the heatshield works, and so does the CAI, as well as taking the seats out - as far as my car's concerned. Unfortunately my car is a 4 door car, so even with taking the seats out, it still weighs in at around 1070kgs, which is roughly the weight of an original honda EK type R (2 door). But still, stripping the car really works, as u get better braking, cornering speed and acceleration. U basically increase the boundaries of your traction circle. My advantage here would be the engine power, about 165whp. For the sso1dot5, I've also got the arospeed room bar installed, which have increased the body rigidity of the car. I wonder if it will work for the R3, or have they already got it as an upgrade?
Faisal,
U didn't get enough sleep, i guess from organising the whole event? Well good run still dude. And also congrats to you and the rest of the guys who put their heads together organising this sso1dot5. Adian also explained a little about the bump steer kit, and it sounds like a good thing to add to our cars. Too bad I don see any for civics.
Cheers guys
