Basically this will be for my stock daily ride. Not looking to attack corners with it but at least can travel safely on highways 140-160kmh on dry. Car soundproofing is pretty bad, hence the need for quieter tyres.
I've tried PS3 before but it is rather noisy, no doubt grip is good (but soft sidewalls).
Is Goodyear Asy3 quiet? Never heard of a quiet Goodyear tyres.
Is PS4 much quieter than PS3?
Since V551 is bad in rain, I'll skip that.
What's the price like for PS4 or Asy3 size 205/45/17?
Ya, but TS looking for a daily/non-sport purposed one. If he is below 17" i would recommend XM2 which by far gave me very quiet experience.

Btw between PS3 vs V551, is the sound level really obvious? Michelin Primacy ST vs Yoko dB which is quieter?
Probably V551 more quiet as the thread pattern very fine and grooves small....lol
But before going into all the tyres, set your tyre size first then look for the tyre model. I remember tyre size 205/50R16 some models do not have and 195/50R16 even less choices.... :hmmmm:
He said he wants 205/45/17 wor.

Among Advan dB, Primacy ST, V551 (or any other quiet comfortable tyres), which has the better wet traction? Not looking for the best wet traction tyres but should not be worse than Goodyear Excellence.

If you want to have better wet grip at least look for tires with traction rating AA.

Got some joker said Yoko Fleva are "truck tyres" in LY.
HAHAHAHAHA! Better don later you get "truck noise" and "truck performance".
Personally I think stick with the safe brands. PS4/Assy3/AdvanDB etc are pretty ok la. DB isn't great in the rain but just slow down la. 80-90 max if I were you. I hated them cuz I couldn't drive like I used to in the rain only. Otherwise they were quite silent (got noise, not impossibly quiet, but quieter than normal) and considering I had them 60 profile on 15" rims they were good. But so damn expensive.

I just got an offer for RE003 @ RM303/pc all in.
Kind of irresistable. Any advice on this? Is the RE003 considered a noisy tyre or average sounding tyre?
