Proton exora - 1st malaysia's mpv

what is the purpose of test drive when u already place for booking on the car...

is not satisfied..then can they refund the booking fee?

I also cannot understand that.

how good is the proton drive by wire system?

Not very good compared to mechanical system, but donno compared to other drive-by-wire system.

go try it, the torque is good.....7 guys also still got acceleration....cheerz

I think its depend on individual.

cars nowaday mostly drive by wire..the ecu controls the throttle.....technology ma....but i really dunno much about electronic or mechanical details of it....heard it saves fuel...as less wastage during acceleration......juz my 2cents

the acceleration/pick up of coz not as good as a sedan car...but somehow its sufficient for a car that size.....

what is the purpose of test drive when u already place for booking on the car...
its meant for potential customers, some intend to make decision, so test drive offered for them, anyone can test drive, due to big crowd, they work by appointment but this week, i see they offered to all......feel free to drop by for test drive at any proton....

is not satisfied..then can they refund the booking fee?
refundable if loan rejected.

how good is the proton drive by wire system?
more responsive and fuel efficient as claimed by the manufacturer....

any review on the car?
no complaint yet, keeping the finger crossed....

any new proton exora owner here?
proton has delivered bout 500 units so far....counting ....more
so far the interior is on grey or dark grey ? no black interior yet ?

its grey color interior.......

Will be expecting the black/darker shade interior to debut with either the Manual version or the SE version. Light colours doesnt suit my family when small kids easily dirty the whole car. Darker colur not so easily visible lol.

oh ic, but the grey color with leather interior is fine....u can clean the stains if there is any from the kids....let me check from my friends whether its in the pipe line or not....for the manual and the darker interior...

i've test driven exora last tuesday..
the were 3 ppl inside including me..
could not get max 7 ppl to test how good the power-to-weight ratio.. haha..

but i must say it's really good value for money mpv..
i get to belasah the exora, pecut sana sini, corner baring, etc everything i can think of..
the engine is preppy and quite good gear ratio to handle it's weight..
feels like driving my fren's waja cps.. haha..
anyways, the top speed not so top la..
got to 160kmh only and was told it can get to 165kmh.. dono la..
ala.. no need to pecut an mpv when it's full of 'orang tersayang' rite?
handling was surprisingly good for a tall machine..
nice nice..

i might buy it in the future when my family get bigger..
must wait for the turbo version.. :driver:

go proton..

hopefully the quality & performance better then previous model, normally new model its more too experimentation to found any problem about the product, my opinion just wait any response/comment from owner of exora..then u decide it...cheerz

yesterday (07/07/2009), Proton launched the EXORA M-line Manual transmission.
price: rm64,998.00 other like color and specs remain the same....

i believe manual will be something diff for aggressive MPV user that need power as well as space & comfort....
