lol just cant stand a nissan engine with a ford body! haha, it would be forgiven if it was a mazda b6 or b8 engine, lol. but i guess its cos its an FR, then theres no choice, unless u mod the transmission of the 4wd mazda, haha

It is good if you can find cosworth engine.

btw, you know, i think you should paint ur car midnight purple, then find wire mesh-ish rims and then if u could, find a nissan r32 dashboard and put it in it, u can even claim ur car as a r32 fastback coupe! hahaha

Kev, midnight purple arr....that's a colour that not every car can fit in :rolleyes: and if the r32 dashboard can fit in then i wouldn't mind to add it on but will need to check with my mechs first lor.

WhiteWagon, u r in the same line of thought as mine... if the parts are plentiful and easy to obtain then i would mind to put in all parts from Ford... but thank god that Malaysia mechanics memang BOLEH in everything :wavey:

HKS, thanks man.... yupe i had few of the other sample of the car but what you posted is the Sierra 4x4 model and mine is Sierra XR4i. The front part they look the same though but you can see the back side mirror are definetely different. The biggest diff is my car is a RWD and the other is 4WD

I am not planning to do a cossie as the parts on this model are sacred here so i will utilise the nissan FR car parts to do the conversion into Ford shell and nissan parts car mainly from silvia model

Hey Zero, it is a good car indeed. The shell of the car are unbeatable and so solid so i have no worries on rust at all. :proud: RS500....wow that would be another rare beauty if you still have it If you ask me if i want a cossie engine then i would definetely say no coz it's hard to maintain and that's why i would utilise a more powerful engine as replacement for the ford engine. That way you can maintain and easily find aftermarket upgrade parts for SR20DET when i want to upgrade the power on this car. Hey if you really going to get another brother car as mine make sure you get in touch with me so we can exchange ideas on the build up

Well i have left my car at the workshop before i go holiday and it has been for 4 days in the workshop so i am eager to see what had happened as well as know how the progress on the car so far.

To be frank i have no idea about the 2.8L original engine but my guess it is a 4 cyclinder engine that produce about 156hp which are very at when it's at it's time.
