guys,i just wanna know what is the vehicle type of subaru impreza GDB??the ori STi version...because the owner of the car sent me his car reg. car n there written "motokar pelbagai utiliti" which mean is a MPV...now my dad ask to me check out what is the type of the car...or can change the vehicle type from MPV to "motorkar"?

hi,

talk about the car importer underdeclaring that car as an mpv for cheaper import duty and tax. i seriously doubt a 4door sedan with a boot and seats only 5 be declared as an mpv. This is actually the problem with buying a recon car without checking the documentation.

but i really like that car man...really sayang lar if the doc got problem...but i heard the vehicle type can be change...but it looks troublemsome,need to go puspakom,jpj and custom...

There will be other cars. Dont take the risk where suddenly customs officers suddenly come knocking on your door and take the car away. Not to mention that by next yr, bugeye imprezas are much cheaper due to it being 2 generations down from the latest version. My friend who's an AP holder told me that.

thanks for the concern guy...anyway,i will try to discuss with the owner n see whether he willing to go jpj and puspakom and renew the doc...then should be no problem
