frcgrey, yes .. the clarion unit from waja can be connected to the sony unit u having, but please be patient and find the cable or ... do it custom ..

I had a fren whom done the cable in custom form, took the 1st head connector from cassette and soldered to sony 2nd end tail socket, but make sure it has correct colour coding when u do it or any other compatible colours.

u can also buy oth type cables, cut it and pass down tho those electronic guys, they can help u ..

cheers!

i plan to DiY.....somebody help me if they're knew it....

check around for Sony CD Control Commander + Modulator
-able to connect this to CD changer to any head unit
- control unit able to Off/On changer units & skips tracks & disc
- Tuning Frequencies (FM88.3Mhz)

U stick the digital control display unit on ur dashboard, its like a turbo timer !

I got an old sony RM-X57 RF not in use, will sell with the right price. I dunno market price since I bought it complete with CD changers form a seller.

Yah .. i suppose, those wire colour coding shud be universal for branded players. If not u have to seek professional assistance, they know wat colour for wat purpose :)

Cheers! and good luck!
