Can someone help me with this equation?
Currently i have an amp with these specs :-
4 x 40W RMS@4 Ohm (Stereo)
4 x 80W RMS@2 Ohm (Stereo)
2 x 160W RMS@4 Ohm (Mono)
All the power rating is at 12V.
Now how do i calculate the RMS if the voltage is at 13.8V. I tried with
P=VI formula where V=13.8 and I=50 (the rating of the fuse) and i get
690watt. Am i calculating correctly? If yes, the 690W is it max power or
rms? Then how much RMS per channel?http://i1.autoworld.com.my/forum/images/emoticons/smile_question.gif
