Planning to buy this

I'm new to the ICE world so planning to buy this .. wonder anywhere else cheaper for a brand new items.

The items are
- 'Rockford Fosgate RFD2112 HX2 PUNCH Sub Subwoofer ' selling at RM890.00.
- ROCKFORD FOSGATE FANATIC P 6.5" COMPONENT FNP2614 selling at RM550.00

Sifus, please enlighten me. I don't wanna get cheated! :(

wat setup are u goin for...

if SQ .....i might ask u to look at diff direction...
if ur at SPL...then ...go ahead.....
but beware...theres many fake RF / Kicker / Sony...etc etc....

wow thanks mate ... i'm actually looking towards more for SQ thank SPL yet however, I'm having dilemma ...

I want SPL too .. I don't want non - existant SPL hence

SQ with mild SPL

Any recommendation sifu verticalar? ;)

u will walk nearly teh same path as i am now...

SQ + SPL = SQL...
whcih i'm trying to master now

try seeking speakers like

- JBL
- MB Quart
- CDT AUDIO
- HELIX

u wotn go wront with these speakers....try to avoid very sharp metal dome tweeters...
very bad for bigneer's ears... :D (just a thought)

amps ....anythign will do ....if can try to get HELIX ( they are very clean but for beginners are good enuff)

thast where u start off....

then advanto to more higher end

What about your HU and amp(s)??
Remember system matching is very important.
If given the choice, stay away from the comps you mentioned-lack lower midbass terribly.

hmmm...i only know shiva for now.....but i only used 3 sub.....

the xcursion is damn shiok.......n tight.....like virgin ahhhh :P

Rm 890 for a sub? Get a Adire Tempest much better than those RF punch.

RF Comp RM 550? Peerless, Helix, DLS has comp in that price range.

Go for brands that you trust can deliver. If you have doubt then dont go for it cause your doubt will cost you a fortune.
