hi all,

would like to know the advantages of installing this pillow ball mount..
would it be noisy or only it will be noisy after the "ball" kong..

thanks n regards

so which mean in normal condition this pillow ball mount will not b noisy right.. and can the be repair after kong?

yup... i agree ,if inverted design still got one problem hehe.. CB bush.

if u got pillow ball mount on top then u can no nit go under the car adjust ur camber...

sifo in the temple,maybe la.for car leh,sometime shoot2 only.got lucky mar
correct lor.hehehe

I guess pillow ball is not really recommended for street use. It may cause premature chassis crack when u drive into pot holes regularly seen on malaysian road.

agreed with starscream, summore it is not durable as you can imagine, it kong after certain distance on the road!

it wont promote chassis crack
its not stiff
and not all pillowball mountings can adjust camber,
and depends on wht bearing they used on the top, if replacement available then u can pump it out n fit new ones, bt depends on design too.

i met in an accident b4 , my pillow ball mount bearings popped out from the plate heheheheheh

seen a crack abs mount on a chasis before.i don't know whether it was cos by
the pillowball or something else.it's a satria.

proton chassis( satria, wira etc..) has weak chassis...especially if the chassis is more than 10 years.. i used to use pillow ball mount before...and hv some chassis crack..because the pillow ball mount doesnt absorb much shock as the standard rubber mount.. after using the new pillow ball less than 5 months, the bearing start giving way and produce irritating sound..

p/s: standard or non-adjustable absorbers is still the most durable on malaysian-made roads in terms of safety and comfort..unless u r willing to sacrifice with bumpy rides just for a very 'rare' beautiful roads in malaysia...malaysia road quality is very poor..(wonder how the gov. can choose the contractor...-i'm sure everybody knows the answer!)

chassis crack ahh...,before i got this problem also in my old lancer so i welding back,so my foreman give me idea:idea:put strut bar so i soft the problem until now no problem.:idea::idea:
