i think E-Manage Blue, E-Manage Ultimate, AVS are all piggybacks, not standaloneHi Guys..
For Twin Turbo.. any of your have tried with standalone ecu such as unchip, emanage blue, avs, emanage ultimate? pros and cons?![]()
i think thats quite normal for F5M312, bcoz of the shorter gear ratioGuys I wanna ask. Who is on F312 manual gearbox? What is the rpm at 100km/h ane 120km/h? Mine is 3k at slightly less that 100km/h. Just wondering if this is normal.
depending on ur objectiveAny suggestion piggyback?standalone?
Thanks A lot Bro.. Now I'm very clear. Yes indeed my target is to get it at 300bhp. :wavey:i think thats quite normal for F5M312, bcoz of the shorter gear ratio
depending on ur objective
if u r looking to be horsepower house, a drag or track machine, then go for standalone
if its gonna be a daily ride with good amount of power, i think piggyback is enough
a few friends of mine with 300whp uses piggback only
piggybakc easy install and easy to manage coz u r still using the standard wiring and ECU
only using the piggyback to 'cheat' the ECU a little
so it goes back to ur objective..
If your oil change interval on time you actually don't need to flush. Beside chemical flush you can use cheap lighter viscosity oil to flush also._________________________________________________
Bro....wht is d best interval to do flush?...evry 50,000 km?
basically, I agreed with VR2, I don't do flush..If your oil change interval on time you actually don't need to flush. Beside chemical flush you can use cheap lighter viscosity oil to flush also.
For turbo engine, I actually recommend earlier OCI. My VR engine never pass 10k km those days but still looks dark inside. I think change at 5 to 7k km better. NA can go 10k km, engine not as hot....basically, I agreed with VR2, I don't do flush..
just make sure the engine oil are changed at every 10k or on time.
personally, I feel the flush will do harm than good..
damaging the seals etc..
noted, I doubt I can hit 10k per year..For turbo engine, I actually recommend earlier OCI. My VR engine never pass 10k km those days but still looks dark inside. I think change at 5 to 7k km better. NA can go 10k km, engine not as hot....![]()
yay~~ i barely hit half that per year....For turbo engine, I actually recommend earlier OCI. My VR engine never pass 10k km those days but still looks dark inside. I think change at 5 to 7k km better. NA can go 10k km, engine not as hot....![]()
Oh! if you don't hit 10k km per year then better change every 6 months......lolnoted, I doubt I can hit 10k per year..
haha
after overhaul, very good to drive.. very efficient..
last time, 1 day I can use up half tank or a quarter in city drive.
now not even close..![]()
although engine oil are cheaper in sg, but cannot be so wasteful bro..Oh! if you don't hit 10k km per year then better change every 6 months......lol
Is standard schedule, even car manufacturer set 10k km or 6 months. This is due to contamination of the oil. The less you use the car, the more likely water vapor is formed. Of course it is up to you whether you want to change in 6 months or 1 year....although engine oil are cheaper in sg, but cannot be so wasteful bro..
once a year, I will still send for check up, change of E O
fully synthetic only.
Shell helix ultra is going like SGD40 for 4L in Sg
say 30-40k kms should be fine, but ensure to use those branded engine flush_________________________________________________

Hi all
The throttle body seems had no improvement after :
1) done d throttle body servicing & its timing go up & down again(particularly on the hot day driving)
2) changed used FICD, also no help....
Can a Throttle body can be repaired?...
What is my next solution?....changed a used or new TB?.....
Thx
