If you use bright colors your car lines would be visible. Meaning your bodykit would be easily visible. If you paint it black, you can't see it very well. At night even worse. If you intend to do stock look, then black is ok. One more thing i hate is black car with black wheels. I mean all black wheels with no silver or anodized finish at the lip or somewhere. I makes the car look unfinished.
For paint color, you should stick to the color you like. Meaning if you like the shade of blue that is on the Wira Thomas cup edition, then get that. Or maybe you like the orange on the Gen 2. Or even the champage color on a Mercedes. Why? Maintenance. If you get bumped and scratched here and there, any paint shop can do it with correct color code. No need to get headaches finding and blending your special color.
Fast fact, Chameleon or 2 tone effect paint is not legal. According to JPJ. 2K paints last much longer than normal paints. But if i want to talk paint, you get more headaches from high gloss, old metallic, new metallic, 2K, 4K, Glasurit finish, diamond based finish, UV drying, baked drying, combo, blah blah. I also headache!
Keep it simple.
