GTIevo3 Dude, when Tong gives you a fresh build turbo its well lubed and oiled... I hope you were gentle with it before you pop the cherry? So some blood ... errrr ... oil is normal ...
A little bit of oil when its newly rebuild is ok ... even with older turbos a tablespoon or two of oil in the intercooler is normal ... but if it starts coming our of the BOV then you have a little trouble... 1st Check if the PCV or breather valve is stuck.. then check if your turbo oil return line is not blocked. Replacing the PCV and cleaning the breather and oil lines are cheap... do those before you take the turbo out. Also this might be residule oil from the last turbo failure or oil that seeps out when its new... so clean the intercooler. Drive for a while and see if still got oil coming out from the BOV.... all else fail then like what other people says oil seals kong ....
