Oil Filter questions

Hahaha. Damn long time already la.

Banzai - Damn Chin's website up again eh? I thought he closed it down. Good la like that, more infor for everyone.

Chinozie, if the engine is in good condition with good engine oil used, i doubt we need high micron filteration. Of course we have to take into account metal shavings. Good filteration and high flow is hard to achieve. I don't think toyota original would put out such filters. My theory should be the same as air filters. But probabaly wrong if some guy with fluid dynamics book comes after me!!! Anyway is it a wonder why they never introduce carbon or ceramic filters like they use for water? Those kind i think we can clean and reuse. hehehe.

And its true that there are those Iswara/Saga NGV taxis that run their engine without a working oil filters. I saw before. They change engine oil sometimes 10000km. No shit man. They can do that because NGV does not pollute the engine oil as much as petrol. Its crazy.
