The Honda NSX,when it was release in 1991,was Honda holy grail of showing-off unprecedented technology, thanks from the input of successful sportscars & single seater racing program. But as the time passing by,while the other Honda automotive lineup has been changed for good, but one thing to be sure, the NSX stay almost the same as it was when its premier released in 1991,being solely dependant on minor facelift & aerodynamics tweak until the end of its production line in 2005.
As the time come, the legacy of the car still with the spirit of Honda lover worldwide. Now,this Homage model was design as the tribute to the 15 years old sportscar that revolutionized the world of premier car brand like Ferrari,to improve their design for almost every aspect, not just relied on the badge or the heritage it had.
Known as NSX Homage model,The concept vehicle uses a mid-engine layout and borrows styling cues from the original NSX,which was known to be sleek, low &
slipstreamed all the way to the back. With major addition that make the car look mascular,so did with the engine. It had 4.7 litre, all aluminium V10 with VTEC variable valve timing with Displacement-On-Demand which can turn the cylinder to only four for better emission & fuel consumption, especially in city, everyday driving. When the performance driving is major consideration, the engine will unleash all 10 cylinder to life, generating at approximately of 580 horses.
The styling was keeping the pop-up headlight look but with different mechanism as the front headlight did not pop-up at all,but using smart hidden casing which can be moved to revealed the aggeresive frontal look.
The side panel of the car still had the side air intake to cooling the engine while made the car to keep up with the line & contour of the previous NSX.
Overall the design was dedicated for stylish, but as simple as the first production NSX,& made it all the way to become a lightweight, superior sportscar dubbed Next-Sportscar-Xperimental.
