Heyya all,

I'm thinking of getting the new 3-series. But I have asked around and got to know that it has some reliability issues? such as sudden engine shutdown. and after several trips to the bmw HQ, its still not fixed. something about software problems. Is this true? Appreciate some advice.

I bought a used 350z (2003 version) in Feb'13. At the beginning, there was a problem with the engine vibration and the mechanic had rectified it by replacing the ECU.
