And it seems like the tense anticipation is a global thing among car nuts and beemer fans.
Keeping the anticipation simmering is a member of the 1Addicts forum, who also happens to be a very talented photoshop artist. Going by the nick of 'Alpine325Ci', the artist has whipped up an 'almost accurate' rendering of the smallest member of the M family, that looks just about how the final product may look like. Perhaps bigger wheels would suit it better.

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe will enter a limited production run next year. There's no official intelligence yet but power is said to possibly come from BMW's 3-liter turbocharged straight six powerplant with 330 to 350hp available on tap.
