NEW 2008 FD2R engine oil quantity

Hello all...

I have the new 2008 (haxogen tail light) FD2R.

Anyway, my question will be, is it normal that all 2008 FD2R engine oil quantity is more than 5 litres? coz my beloved car fill around 6.5 litres. is it normal? my mechanic jump to surprise when my car fill that large amount..

please help me and if possible support your answer..

from the owner's manual:

1.) if u change the engine oil together with the oil filter = 4.7 liters

2.) if u change the engine oil w/out changing the oil filter = 4.5 liters

pls read the owner's manual 1st b4 u get the car moving... at least read the important stuff first ok...

Thanks for the reply snoopdog but the thing is all my manuals are in japanese version. i bought my car directly from japan market...

so anyone can support to it?

because that when i fill 5 litres, the oil level at dip stick still havent reach the high level..

maybe urs got racing oil sump or oil cooler~cheer with it!

for vtec engines...

to check the exact level of engine oil at the dip stick is early in the morning...

so... wake up early... dont start ur car... and check the engine oil la...
