NEED help..

Hey guys.. i m in the process of sellin my car. i shud be handing over my baby by this
week. When i do that, i ll be carless. So, the question is, what car or which car shud i get?
i m in a dillema with my missus coz the both of us cannot decide.

The cars that i am planning to get : r32 GTS or cefiro. i plan to use it for daily drive and sum mild drifting ( when i learn how that is.. ).

So, can anyone here give me a reason on why i shud choose one and not the other. i m soo
confused. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys..

another thing, which car is better for drifting? the r32 or
the ceffy? i havent seen any r32 goin sideways yet so i dont really know.
as for the ceffy, i ve seen ah fai doin some really cool stuff. but then again
if u give him any rwd, he shud be able to make it go sideways nicely...

-you can drift
-can go speeding fast2
-looks more "hensem"
-got the name "skyline"
-babe magnet
-can bring less ppl inside(coupe)

if you choose Cefiro A31,
-you can drift
-also can speeding fast2
-not too "hensem" than R32
-just plain "cefiro" at the back
-babe magnet IF modified...
-can bring more ppl inside(sedan)

i like the Cefiro, even though the interior and styling is slightly dated, with a kit and some dished rims they can look very good..

i like the feel of the Cefiro at higher speeds, feels more stable than the 32 i was in.. but my Ceffy has some suspension work done and 9" rim so wide tyres did help..

but a 4 door car is much much easier to live with

Welcome to MSC thread man. Well to answer your question, and not a GTS owner, as for me, a little bit of ceffy could be answered to you. As you know, ceffy is a cheap car to be puchased compared to a GTS. As i told u the current value of it. Furthermore, the conversion is much cheaper and easier to get as u could find these parts at any chop shop and spare parts shops.

Then, ceffy are sedan cars with four doors and much practical for family use. Well, this all depends as SKAGEE mentioned in his above statement.

Choose wisely bro.

If you're not a hardcore Skyline fanatic that wouldn't settle without a Skyline, I would suggest you just go with the Ceffy A31.

The A31 has its advantages:
- Easy to find parts
- Low profile family car, can go everywhere
- 4 door sedan with a big boot, can bring family

Best of all, the A31 would be the best car for drift starters with its quite powerful and easy to catch characteristic. You'll find yourself drifting like Ah Fai in his A31 in no time!

Practical and glamourous car. (Isn't Ah Fai's car glamourous? LOLOLOLOL)

However, if you want nothing but a Skyline, just go for the R32GTS.

U should ask topui, he sold his r32 gtst 2dr for an A31. He's very glamer in drifting circles now hehe. He did drift his r32 alot and I was in it once, not bad but cheaper, easier and more practical in the A31 I guess.

hey guys... thanks for the feedback. i m married with 2 kids actually. the glamour part is not really important as for the practicality. further more, i m new into drifting. need an easy car to play with.
as for the skyline, i ve been a fan since a long time ago. i ve always wanted one. 32, 33 or 34. all i like. i m a sucker for the six cylinder sound. smooth and very responsive.
neways, i think i can make a better and more sound decission now. thanks a lot everyone.


p/s- mr nismo, skagee and the other sifu's, when i get a car, i hope u guys dont mind teaching someone new here on how to drift. :)

R32 4 door looks nice esp. if lowered and big rims. hard to find but much easier than r32 gtr. i've seen a few come on sale in motortrader. price shud be around 50-60k.

lotsa skyfiros around, front end and back end swapped and look damn near to a r32 4 door. i guess around 30-40k can get.
