need help on wira A/b 1.5 & wira A/b 1.6

heyz bros...
jus have a few questions i would like all of u to help answer...


1. is there a diff btw wira 1.5 a/b & wira 1.6 a/b ? ie apart frm the engine n the rear
disc brakes
2. there any diff in da chassis ??
3. can we use bodily parts of the 1.6 ie springs n absorbers on the 1.5 n vice versa ?
4. the new WiSE is usin da 1.5 or 1.6 chassis??some peepz say 1.5 n some say 1.6..
whic is whic ler ??

answers to ur question:
1. interior & meter different
2. chasis the same
3. yes, but if use 1.6 spring & absorber on 1.5, front wheel gap would be bigger as it could support a heavier engine
4. basically, it's the same for 1.5 & 1.6 except manual & auto

yes, there's a lot of differences actually but most people didnt realise it..1.6 chassis is much more stiffer, got a rear anti roll bar as standard, handling is somewhat better then 1.5..the chassis code also different i think..1.6 is c98 but for 1.5, i cant remember..

the absorber are different..1.6 uses a bigger one, same as 1.8..esp. the front abs..WiSE is still using 1.5 chassis, tuned for a better handling and got rear disk brake..

proton did not make chassis for wira 1.6 and 1.8 and also putra..they buy it from mitsu..since their colloboration ended, proton did not produce wira 1.6, 1.8 and putra anymore..

there's a lot of sifu's here so correct me if im wrong..

True, chasis of 1.6 is stiffer as 1.6 uses bigger parts such as the rear anti roll bars, bigger brakes and rear discs similar to 1.8. Wira SE is on 1.5 chasis but they are using 1.6 absorbers. As for all wira, satria & putra, proton did made them. 1.6 & 1.8s were replaced by waja and because 1.3s & 1.5s had better market sale
