juz now went to tan chong & part shop check drive shalf oil seal info...

tc quote me L/H rm38 R/H rm35, part shop L/H rm28 R/H rm30

model no: R/H 3834281x00 33-59-17, L/H 3834281x01 39-59-8/13.5

both said only 1 oil seal at left side of gb... and tc confirm MT & AT drive shalf oil seal is same.

funny thing is part shop part book dun hv MT info but tc one got...

anyone got better price shop?

Thats becoz ur mt driveshaft seal is very rare in Malaysia, just like my LSD driveshaft, have to search high and low.
 
Bro, With manual t. whats your best time for 0-100 km/h? Was thinking to change it if my auto kaput next time (knock on the wood), hehehe... and also the rpm when highway cruising @110km/h. high or not?
 
if you maintain the auto well, it can last until 400kkm without problem.

110km/h & 120km/h between 3k rpm till 4k rpm
 
For a MT , its normal for that kind of RPM when doing 110-120 km/h. I m sure his ride has better milleage than most of our AT veh.
 
I believe it'll be worse than normal 3.0AT. It's similar to my previous replaced gearbox on my 30GV, rpm at 3000 on 120km/h. But come to power... it's a wow! really good! Guess it's bcos the engine already in the peak torque curve
 
i thought 120km/h around 2.5k rpm...

yes seizai, normally 30GV will have 2.5rpm at 120km/h, but mine previous one have this high-revv "problem" after gearbox change. It's the final gear ratio. But straight away u'll feel that it drives really like a 3000cc car shud. Really good pickup and re-acceleration, as if the car is challenging u to step on it harder.

Our ori 30GV gearbox drives with "lazy and relaxed" feel, which i think they intentionally designed it this way.
